3 Days Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire Safari

OVERVIEW

This three-day camping safari allows you to see a huge range of species in some of the most diverse habitats. Parts of the Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks, as well as the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, can be seen.

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Tarangire National Park Complete Safari Itinerary

We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning. Our journey to Tarangire National Park has officially begun. The Tarangire National Park, with its limitless tree savanna and seasonal marshes, is also host to North Tanzania’s biggest elephant population, with over 4000 elephants at the last count. There are also giraffes, buffalo, tigers, zebras, gnus, and various varieties of antelopes and gazelles to see.

Upon arrival at the park, your driver will greet you with an open-top jeep and a comprehensive wildlife watch will begin with our lunch box, which will be taken to a picnic place, and in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to see more of this incredible and breathtaking park. You will arrive late in the afternoon at Twiga camp site or Maramboi Tented Camp outside the park for the first night of our program.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Tarangire National Park

A relaxing start followed by a drive across Africa’s graven fault, the Rift Valley, to the cooler crater uplands. The Ngorongoro Crater is nearly 600 meters wide, and it is home to an incredible number of species. Along with the “large five” (elephants, buffalo, tigers, leopards, and rhinoceros), the savanna of east Africa is home to almost half of the wildlife that can be found there. Lunch will be served at a designated picnic location, and the remainder of the afternoon will be dedicated to further nature viewing. You will later exit the crater, completing the second night of our program. 3 day Tanzania camping safari with dinner and overnight at Simba Camp or Ngorongoro Farm House. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all options.

Day 3: Moshi/Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara National Park

This is the last day of our 3-day Tanzania Camping Safari program. After breakfast, go on your “Northern Circuits” trip to Tanzania’s next National Park. Lake Manyara Park is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks. It extends from the northwestern shore of the lake to a significant part of the lake itself. Thousands of flamingos, pelicans, and more than a hundred other species of birds find their home on the lake throughout the summer. You can see proud elephants with their magnificent tusks searching for food and going on their normal business around the partially forested margins. Giraffes, buffalo, gazelle, antelope, baboons, and, of course, the famed tree climbing lions will all be present.

It will be time to abandon the national park and head to Arusha after a jam-packed wildlife trip. Breakfast and lunch are also accessible.
